International and US law

Our Law Firm provides services in matters of an international nature with a particular focus on the US.

• inheritance in the US or acquisition of non-inherited assets such as retirement accounts left by the testator or accounts to which a beneficiary has been designated in the event of death,
• acquisition or rejection of inheritance in Poland by foreign heirs, permission to reject an inheritance on behalf of a minor, inheritance and gift taxes,
• confirmation of Polish citizenship, transcription of foreign marital status certificates as well as applications to the President of the Republic of Poland for granting citizenship,
• recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements in Poland and the US,
• obtaining permits to work in Poland for citizens of non-EU countries, to set up a businesses in Poland, permits for permanent and temporary residence,
• counselling in the process of obtaining visas to the US based on work or through family sponsorship,
• setting up and running a business in the US,
• representation in family matters with an international aspect as well as in matters under the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction,
• purchase and sale of real estate in Poland, taking into account tax issues,
